Webinar: Reporting for Finance
Looking beyond the numbers
Invitation to the free Addedo Webinar
Date: Friday, November 29, 2019, 09:00 am - 09:45 am
In particular, this webinar addresses TM1 / Planning Analytics and Cognos Controller users who want to add and automate the "numbers" in their reports by adding comments and textual explanations - e.g. for the internal management report, the risk report, the external annual and quarterly report or for regulatory reporting such as ESEF.
A look beyond the numbers is gaining more and more importance in reporting. In recent years, much time and energy has been spent on optimizing financial system landscapes. Nevertheless, the overall process is still not considered satisfactory, as the necessary commentary and analysis of the information for interpretation by internal and external addressees has mostly been done manually. This is not only time-consuming, requires a lot of synchronization and reconciliation for all participants, it is also error-prone and simply unsatisfactory.
The volume of data is increasing, and at the same time, the requirements and information requirements of regulators, stakeholders and management are increasing and the reporting cycles are becoming ever shorter and more intensive. There is no time for manual copying and pasting of data from source systems or separate spreadsheets and time-consuming check-back with the experts to comment on the information.
There is another way! In this webinar you will get to know reporting based on TM1 and Cognos Controller newly!
Webcast session: ESEF Reporting
Date: Thursday, 24th of October 2019, 9.00 am - 09.45 am.
ESMA introduces the "European Single Electronic Format" (ESEF) for all stock change listed and IFRS-based companies in Europe. The proven Collaborative Disclosure Management (CDM) software from Certent takes care of the digital ESEF reporting in a comprehensive approach from the data source up to and including the generation of reports in various output formats.
Certent CDM is one of the 5 solutions approved by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and achieved the best results in the area of reporting in various classifications.
ESEF is new - but the CDM software is already used by many Cognos Controller users (e.g. UBS, McDonalds, Airbnb, Air France) for internal, external and other digital reports, such as SEC, Basel III (EBA) and Solvency II (EIOPA).
In our free Webinar you will learn about the:
- general information about ESEF reporting, data and content of the reporting data
- basic principles of the electronic XHTML or iXBRL format for ESEF
- benefits of built-in reporting from data source to output in various formats
- enjoy a live presentation about the use of the ESEF reporting process with CDM and Cognos Controller as data source.
We are looking forward to your participation in the free Webinar.
